Clarity in technology governance.

Glossolalie Advisory formalises thirty years of international technology experience into six governance frameworks, documented by their author, Thierry Sayegh-Sauvage.

The layered model: choose a framework

ECM™

An integrating governance layer of five interdependent layers (Capital, Architecture, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Innovation), each with a board-reportable coherence metric.

A framework nobody operates is a dead document. Governance is an operational capability.

Six governance frameworks

Each framework governs one dimension of a single discipline: the divestiture, depreciation and structural ageing of technologies and of delegations. Each one has a detailed summary on this site, and a full whitepaper shared by the author on request.

What we believe

  1. Instruments to operate

A framework nobody operates is a dead document. The value of a framework is measured by its capacity to be activated daily.

  2. Governance is an operational capability

Compliance sets the minimum that can be demanded, and governance begins beyond it. Organisations that treat governance as a reporting exercise never develop the decision-making capacity that effective oversight demands.

  3. Technology is a capital allocation decision first

Return, risk, depreciation horizon. Every architectural decision is a capital allocation decision. Treating technology otherwise leads to under-optimised portfolios and under-priced risk.

  4. Precision before persuasion

Name the problem before proposing the solution. Transformation rhetoric more often conceals diagnostic failures than it accelerates change.

Engineering

Seven public repositories, six of them forming a chain in four links: decide, measure, operate, prove. Every governance claim here is a piece of code with a test that proves it refuses.
